Hello apple lovers!

There is no better way to start you’re morning than the smell of warming spices wafting through the fresh air. You wake up (maybe still in pajamas or hurriedly getting ready for you’re day) and all you want is a warm fresh breakfast. With no time for pancakes, muffins, or crazy toast but still caving a “comfy” breakfast it’s time to reach for my sauteed spiced apples!

First recipe…quick cacao date balls

Inspiration

It’s the summer…I finally have a few more minutes to breath and create. Also, more day time means more hikes. More time under the alpine sky. To learn more about me and my low-fodmap, adventurous, and flavorful baking go to the about me page :).

So, I was about to do a hike to summit Mt. Evans with my grandpa via Mt. Spaulding, not an easy hike considering the altitude. (like any Colorado 14er prepare before attempting to summit these mountains) I needed fuel…and I was craving something other than an energy bar. Oh, and I love chocolate and dates so…. Chocolate date balls.
